Lori Owens-Kostiuk is the artist behind LOK Studio 6. Sage, her loveable Sheepadoodle acts as studio assistant.
From my earliest memories, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I come from a family of pet lovers where we celebrated the joy, devotion and unconditional love our pets graciously bestow upon us. I carry on that tradition today in my everyday life and through my custom pet portraits.

I offer two mediums from which to choose for your pet portrait. Art, in its various forms, is a personal choice. That's why I offer two styles.
One of which is perfect for you.
How It Works
Securing Your Booking...
First, we must ensure the photo(s) you have of your pet are acceptable for me to work from. They must be high-resolution, clear photos without filters. The more detailed, the better. Be sure to state the pose you prefer if you are sending various reference photos. Click here to learn what type of photos make for a winning portrait.
Once the photo(s) are approved and portrait details are agreed upon a Commission Agreement will be emailed to you and a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to secure your booking. (I accept PayPal, Credit Cards and Cash)
Once the deposit is received, the commission is booked for my next available date. I'm often booked months in advance so if you have a special date in mind, please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
The Drawing or Painting Process...
I will begin the drawing or painting process with an initial outline sketch. Once I begin applying color I will send you progress photos to ensure you are happy with the work. If you find something that you have concerns with or want to make a change, this is the time to let me know. Note that only one change is allowed without cost. Once the portrait is completed, I will send you a final proof and an invoice for the remaining balance. After the final payment is received I will carefully pack your portrait for delivery via CTT Post with tracking. I cover the cost of shipping however, if you would like to obtain insurance for your package, that is an additional fee. Please let me know if you would like to add insurance prior to shipping and I will give you the cost of full coverage insurance.
Note: There may be an additional customs/duty fee on your parcel once it arrives, which will be your responsibility to settle.
